The group, which is pronounced like 'glisten,' has actually been around for over 25 years. Like I mentioned, Disney is donating a portion of their Pride line profits to GLSEN, 'the leading organization working to create safe & LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 schools,' per their site. Now it's time to chat about the special group involved. They've got the everyday essentials like a glitter travel tumbler, rainbow knee socks, and a tropical Mickey backpack, not to mention hats, sunglasses, and so much more.

And while it might be difficult to justify spending on Mickey Mouse merch I don't necessarily need, the limited-edition Pride line benefits a great cause, so basically, there's no excuse not to.ĭisney's donating 10 percent of the proceeds from the new line to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (more on what exactly they do in a minute), but the collection also includes a lot of must-haves. I was already tempted to shell out big bucks to buy every last item from Disney's Rainbow Collection the second I laid eyes on it.
